A Longitudinal Study of Job Discrimination and the good Job Retention and Mobility status change of Wage Earners with Disabilities on Job Satisfaction

Abstract
The objective of this study was to examine the influence of job discrimination status change and the good job retention and mobility status change of wage earners with disabilities on job satisfaction through a Longitudinal study. For the purposes of this study, data were drawn from the 3rd wave to the 7th wave data of ¡®Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled¡¯ providing at Korea Employment Agency. 686 data under the age of 64 were used for the purposes of this analysis. The results of this study were summarized as follows. (1) The case that job discrimination was not continuously happened was positively influenced on job satisfaction, while the continuous job discrimination was negatively influenced on job satisfaction. (2) The continuous good job retention was positively influenced on job satisfaction, while the continuous bad job retention was negatively influenced on job satisfaction. Based on these results, some implications were discussed to improve job satisfaction of the wage earners with disabilities through reducing the disability discrimination and retaining the good job.
